(NYSE: EMG) ("Emergent" or the "Company") today announced the commencement of a public offering of $25 million in Senior Notes due 2021 (the "Notes"). The Notes are expected to be listed on the Nasdaq Global Market under the trading symbol "EMGB" and to trade thereon within 30 days of the original issue date. The Company intends to grant to the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the Notes to cover over-allotments, if any.
