WHAT: On Friday, September 27, 2024, there will be a ribbon-cutting and dedication of the Genolier Innovation Hub, a unique global healthcare, medical and pharma center of excellence based in Switzerland. The project's campus is dedicated to innovation, translational research and accelerating development in healthcare.
This multidisciplinary center is designed for medtech, pharma, biotech and bioscience firms who have reached late-phase trial development and need to have their compound, equipment or technology tested in a clinical setting. The Genolier Innovation Hub helps healthcare, medical and pharma companies break down traditional silos by facilitating a connection between research and clinical applications and patients and physicians (clinical application is typically missing from incubators and healthcare hubs worldwide).
Genolier Innovation Hub's opening reflects an initial investment of CHF 100 million ($118 m USD) by Infracore SA, a Swiss-based healthcare infrastructure company. By integrating key players from industry, research and public and private hospitals from Switzerland and beyond, the Genolier Innovation Hub aspires to become a global leader in developing innovative solutions for current and future health challenges. Initial commercial partners include two U.S. companies – GE Healthcare and Accuray – as well as Biopôle and RaySearch Laboratories.
