ZeeVee’s updated ZyPer4K-XS SDVoE decoder with Dante and full USB 2.0 functionality makes its debut at InfoComm. The model offers cost-effective solutions for the distribution and switching of uncompressed 720p, 1080p HD, Ultra HD and 4K resolution content, audio and control via off-the-shelf 10Gb Ethernet switches. The ZyPerUHD60-2EMP: A Best of Show Winner at ISE 2024
The ZyPerUHD60-2EMP is the industry’s first encoder that integrates a comprehensive control and security interface. By integrating the company’s popular ZyPer Management Platform (ZMP 3.x), the ZyPerUHD60-2EMP is capable of operating an AVoIP system with enhanced network, account and GUI application safeguards – all without the need for additional components.
Like the other ZMP format offerings, this combo unit will enable the easy building of video walls (up to 15 x 15) and the auto-discovery of all connected appliances so that they are instantly viewable. AV Network Prep, Readiness and Design Training Session

ZeeVee’s Director of Product Management Art Weeks will lead an AVIXA training session entitled ‘AV Network Prep, Readiness and Design,’ where attendees will learn the intricacies of AVoIP-based network design. It will start with an introduction to what an IP network switch is and focus on important concepts specific to designing and installing a functional AVoIP network. Attendees will leave the session with a better understanding of switch backplanes, LANs, VLANs, full/half duplex communication, AV directional flow, PoE and PoE budgeting.
Many real-world AV over IP network examples will be reviewed and discussed to highlight the advantages of various system design approaches. The course will wrap up by providing a high-level checklist of things to watchout and plan for with any AVoIP network design followed by a Q & A period.
